Adams County Site Terms

Using this website signifies agreement to these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with Adams County, a sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or another government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Purpose of the Website

The site points visitors toward Adams County and Ohio release-record resources and selected outside research tools. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, order a release, file a document, or act for a government office.

Acceptable Use

  • Comply with all applicable laws.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person.
  • Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited screening decision.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access, scrape with bots, introduce malicious code, or disrupt service for others.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and provides no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Users agree not to use site or partner information for employment, termination, tenant selection, housing, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, government-benefit eligibility, or any other FCRA-regulated determination.

Outside Resources

Links can lead to sheriff, court, corrections, legal, notification, federal, and commercial search services. A link is not an endorsement. Outside operators control their content, availability, security, prices, terms, and privacy practices.

Provided As Is

Content and access are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness, uninterrupted operation, security, or error-free performance. Partner searches are not guaranteed to be complete. Custody and public records can change quickly, and nothing here is an official agency statement.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from use, inability to use, reliance on content, or interaction with an outside service.

Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user’s conduct, misuse, or violation of these terms.

Ownership

Site text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Adams County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, redistributed, modified, or republished without written permission except where law allows.

Changes and Access

These terms may change when a revised version is posted. Access may be restricted or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the site or others.

Ohio Law

Ohio law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any permitted dispute must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Ohio.

Severability

If one provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
